Great period details from the main train station in Weston-super-Mare.

Uphill Lime Kiln

This kiln is at the end of the boatyard, just before the gate leading further down the coast. Uphill sits on a limestone hill, line processed here would have been important to sweeten the Somerset soil.
Uphill have a pretty informative website, it's a lovely little village.

The Savoy

The Savoy Hotel on the seafront in Weston-super-Mare. Quite close to the Marine Lake the hotel looked great in the evening sun as I rode past it yesterday.

All lined up ready to play their part in taking over the world, or the High Street at the very least!

Yatton Train Station

The waiting room at Yatton Station. Closed for as long as I have been using the station (if I feel like wimping out of my 20 mile commute I can jump on the train at Yatton and save 10 miles).
The waiting room is earmarked to be the cafe serving the Strawberry Line, they have just announced that they have secured funding. Great news, can't wait to see, and use, the new facilities.
